4. Network Settings
This chapter explains network settings for your printer.
Network Setting Items
This section explains the items that can be set with network functions.
You can print the network setting list and check the current network settings by pressing the the scroll
button
and selecting [Print Information] > [Network] > [Execute] on the operator panel.

For details on how to print the network settings list, refer to “Printing Out Print Information” P.46.
You can change the network settings from your printer’s web page, Conguration Tool, and Network
Card Setup. For the menus available for each utility, refer to the following tables.

DNS Server
(Primary)
- - 0.0.0.0 Specify the IP address of the
primary DNS server. Set this item
when SMTP (E-Mail protocol)
is used. When an IP address
is used to set the SMTP server
name, this item does not need to
be set.
DNS Server
(Secondary)
- - 0.0.0.0 Specify the IP address of the
secondary DNS server. Set
this item when SMTP (E-Mail
protocol) is used. When an IP
address is used to set the SMTP
server name, this item does not
need to be set.
Dynamic DNS - - ENABLE Set whether to register the
information to the DNS server
when a setting such as IP
address has been changed.
DISABLE
Domain Name - - (NULL) Set the name of the domain to
which the printer belongs.
