IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. Intended use: This appliance has been designed exclusively for use in dry-interior households. Every other use is improper and may lead to injuries, whereby the liability of the manufacturer will cease. • Make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors or for commercial purposes. This unit is intended for household use only. • Regularly check if the supply cord, appliance or extension cable are defective. If found defective, do not put appliance into operation. Immediately pull the plug. • Place the supply cord or any extension cord in a way that pulling or tripping over it is impossible. Do not allow the supply cord to hang down within easy reach.
1.0 General Carefully read the following important information regarding installation safety and maintenance. Keep this information booklet accessible for further consultations. The appliance has been designed as a exhausting version (external exhaust ) or as a filter version (internal air recycle) cooker hood. 2.0 Installation instructions 2.1 The cooker hood has to be placed at a distance of 65-75cm (26-30inch) from the cooking surface for the best effect. See Pic 1. 2.
• • The angle of the bend of the ventilation pipe should not be less than 120º; you must direct the pipe horizontally, or, alternatively, the pipe should go up from the initial point and should be led to an outer wall. After the installation ,make sure that the hood is placed an elevation of 3-5 degrees above the level ― avoid collecting the grease at on end .See Pic. 6: 3.0 Operation 3.1 Connect the plug into the power. 1 into “I”, the lamp will be on; push into “0”, the lamp will be off. 3.
4.4 The anti-grease filters capture the grease particles suspended in the air, and are therefore subject to clogging according to the frequency of the use of the appliance. 4.5 In order to prevent fire hazard, it is recommendable to clean the filter at a maximum of every 2 months by carrying out the following instructions. See Pic 8 • Soak them for about 3 minute in hot water (40-50 degrees) with a grease-loosening detergent then brush it gently with a soft brush.

Should the lamps not work, make sure they are well tightened. Note: Prior to any maintenance operation ensure that the cooker hood is disconnected from the power supply.
5.0 Trouble shooting Symptom The cooker hood does not start. The cooker hood is not working Effectively. Solution ● Check that the hood is connected to the electricity supply. ● Check that the fan speed control is set properly. ● The fan speed is not set high enough. ● The grease filter is dirty. ● The kitchen is not ventilated well enough. ● If the hood is set for recirculation, check that the carbon filters have not expired.

1.0 Allgemein Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden wichtigen Informationen zum Thema Installation, Sicherheit und Wartung vor der Benutzung sorgfältig durch. Heben Sie diese Anleitung für spätere Fragen auf. Diese Abzugshaube ist als Abluftgerät (mit Luftaustritt ins Freie) konzipiert, kann aber auch unter Einsatz eines Filters als Umluftgerät genutzt werden. 2.0 Installationsanweisungen 2.1 Die Dunstabzugshaube sollte für die beste Wirkung in einem Abstand von 65 bis 75 cm von der Kochfläche platziert werden.
• • • • • Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie vor der Installation. Jede Installation muss durch eine Elektrofachkraft oder eine zuständige Person durchgeführt werden. Schließen Sie das Luftkanalsystem der Haube nicht an ein vorhandenes Ventilationssystem an, das für andere Geräte wie ein Erwärmungsrohr, ein Gasrohr oder ein Heißluftrohr verwendet wird.
4.0 Bedienung und Wartung 4.1 Es wird empfohlen, die Abzugshaube vor dem Kochprozess in Betrieb zu nehmen. 4.2 Es wird empfohlen, die Abzugshaube bis zu 15 Minuten nach Beendigung des Kochprozesses in Betrieb zu lassen, um entstandene Dämpfe und Gerüche vollständig zu entfernen. 4.3 Das einwandfreie Funktionieren der Abzugshaube ist abhängig von der regelmäßigen Wartung und Pflege, insbesondere des Aktivkohlefilters. 4.

Verwenden Sie nur olivenförmige Glühbirnen von 40 W E14. • Drücken Sie den Griff des Aluminiumfilters zum hinteren Teil des Gerätes, bis er aus dem vorderen Gehäuseteil freigesetzt wird, und entfernen Sie den Filter durch Drücken nach unten (Siehe Abb. 8). • Auswechseln der Glühbirne, siehe Abb. 10. Abb. 10 Achtung! Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Glühbirnen kühl sind, bevor sie sie anfassen.
5.0 Störungserkennung Symptom Die Abzugshaube startet nicht. Die Abzugshaube funktioniert nicht effektiv. Lösung ● Überprüfen Sie, ob die Abzugshaube an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. ● Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gebläse richtig eingestellt ist. ● Die Gebläse-Einstellung ist nicht hoch genug. ● Der Fettfilter ist schmutzig. ● Die Küche ist nicht ausreichend belüftet. ● Wenn die Abzugshaube auf Umluft gestellt ist, vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Aktivkohlefilter nicht abgelaufen sind.
