WALL ANCHORING GUIDE:
Your wall material and furniture type will determine the wall anchoring hardware that best fits your use.
Wall Material Types: The guide below helps you to determine your wall material and the correct steps to affix the
tip over restraint to your wall material.
Drywall or plaster with available wood stud: (
Hardware needed: a, b, d, e)
1. Mark the attachment point(s) at the appropriate height and positioned over wood stud(s).
2. Drive screw directly into the wood stud(s) at your mark(s).
3. Follow the appropriate visual instructions below.
Drywall without available wood stud: (
Hardware needed: a, b, e, f, g)
1. Mark the attachment point(s) at the appropriate height.
2. Drill 10 mm (3/8) pilot hole(s) through the wall at your mark(s).
3. After drilling hole, insert drywall anchor completely.
4. Insert screw. Turn screw clockwise until snug
5. Follow the appropriate visual instructions below. Do not over-tighten.
Masonry: (
Hardware needed: a, b, c, d, e)
1. Mark the attachment point(s) at the appropriate height.
2. Drill 8mm (5/16) pilot hole(s) into the wall at your mark(s).
3. Drive your anchoring hardware into the hole(s).
4. Follow the appropriate visual instructions below. Do not over-tighten.
