4.12.2 Protecting files against deletion
This camera offers a lock function to avoid accidentally deleting
selected images and videos and to prevent you from adding or deleting
voice notes.

Select the file to be protected in
playback mode. Press the menu
button. Press ▲ or ▼ to select the
symbol
and press OK to
confirm.

Select Lock using ▲ or ▼ and
press OK to confirm.

Protect (LOCK):
The current file is protected.
The
symbol appears on the
image in the LCD.
Unprotect (UNLOCK):
The current file is unlocked and
can be deleted. The
symbol is
no longer displayed.
