4.2 The Remote Control
1. switch on/off
2. up, next channel
3. mute (switches the sound off)
4. Direction left, decrease Volume
5. select, short-key menu
6. Direction right, increase Volume
7. Enter main menu, return to main menu
8. down, last Channel
9. one menu level backwards, return to last viewed channel
10. Numerical buttons to directly select the corresponding station number or for entering
the page number of Videotext.

Preparation of the Remote Control
Place the remote control on an even surface and insert the supplied cell battery into
the remote control as follows.

Refer to the drawing and remove the empty
battery receptacle.

Insert the battery into the receptacle. Make
sure the polarity matches the marks inside the
component.
