4. Place the housing cover over the back, by placing the locating holes (on the

side of the housing) over the clips.

5. Push and rotate the housing release knob into the locked position (right).

6. Fold the latch up over the release knob

7. Insert the pin to retain the latch

Complete the provided identiﬁ cation label using a UV stable indelible pen. Fit the label to

the front of the Float Free Housing cover in the rectangular recess provided and use the

clear protective label to cover it.

An activation instruction label is provided and should be positioned

close to the installation to assist any member of the crew or

passengers in the activation procedure should they need to manually

remove and activate the EPIRB1 Pro.
