Thebrowsercomponent(MozillaGecko)usedintheWYSIWYGeditoroftheDesignerwasupdatedfor
Connect2018.1.ThisallowsuseofnewCSSproperties,suchasflexbox.
HoweverthisupdatecouldleadtoincreasedoutputfilesizesforsomePCL,AFPandIPDSjobs.Thisis
generallynotacauseforconcern,howevertheremightbesomeassociatedincreaseinprocessing
times,aswellassomeminordifferencesintheoutput.Forexample,tablelinewidthsandfontspacings
mightdifferslightly(particularlyforSMALLCAPStext),whichcouldleadtoslightlydifferentword-wrap-
pinginsomecircumstances.

AsofPrintShopMailConnect2018.1ConnectisofficiallysupportedunderWindowsServer2016.
Pleasenote,however,thattheUplandObjectifLuneUpdate Clientapplicationmightbeblockedby
theenhancedsecuritysettingsinWindowsServer2016.

Limit of 100MB of image files within a single job
Thebrowsercomponent(MozillaGecko)usedintheWYSIWYGeditoroftheDesignerwasupdatedfor
Connect2018.1.ThisallowsuseofnewCSSproperties,suchasflexbox.
Howeverthisupdatealsointroducedalimitof100MBsforimagefilesincludedwithinasinglejob.The
limitissetat100MBdeliberately,asthisallowsmostjobstorunfaster.However,ifajobrequiresmore
than100MBsofimagefiles,thentheConnectimagecachesizecanbeincreasedtocaterforsuch.
