to Fit".
As"Scale to Fit"isnowswitchedonbydefaultinallstandardConnect2019.1AFPandIPDSPrinter
Definitions,noneofthoseshouldencountertheissue.
Thisissuewillbefixedinasubsequentpatchrelease.
Issue after erroneous or incomplete update or re-installation
Ifoneormoreproducts(theConnectDesigner,ConnectServer,SoftwareActivation,PrintManager,or
ServerConfigurationTool)orenginesexitwithinasecondofstarting,thismaybecausedbyarecent
erroneousorincompleteuninstallbeforeareinstallorupgradetoanewerversionofOLConnect.(See

Backend database might require periodic maintenance
Databasesmaintainavarietyofstatisticsinordertooptimizeperformance.Whenhighlevelsofinserts
and/ordeletionsoccur,thestatisticaldatakeepingcanstruggletokeepup.Overaperiodofprolonged
andintensiveprocessingthiscanresultinadegradationinperformance,withthewholedatabaseslow-
ingdownasitstrugglestocleanitselfup.
InConnecttermstheeffectcanbefeltastheDataMapperand/orJobCreationprogressivelyslowing
down.
Tocurethisissue,itisrecommendedthatyouperiodicallyrunmanualmaintenanceonthebackend
database.
