Metainformationinanemailisnotvisibletothereceiver,butmighthaveaneffectontherep-
resentationoftheemailinthee-mailclient.
Toaddcustommetainformationtoanemail:
1. Right-clicktheemailsectionontheResourcespaneandselectProperties....
2. TheMeta Informationgrouplistsall<meta>tagsthatwillbeaddedtotheemail.ClicktheAdd
buttontoaddanew<meta>tagtothelist.
3. Selectthetypeof<meta>tag,whichiseithernameorhttp-equiv.
4. Foraname-typemetatag,enterthevalue.
5. Enterthecontent.
Example: Whenyouaddanamemetatagwiththevalueviewportandcontentwidth=320,thefol-
lowingwillbeaddedtotheemail:

TheEmailPDFPasswordScriptWizarddefinesapasswordwithwhichtoprotectthePDFgenerated
whenusingthePrintcontextasPDFAttachmentoptionintheSendEmailorSendTestEmaildialogs
(see"GeneratingEmailoutput"onpage876).Theresultofthescriptwillbethepasswordnecessaryto
openthePDFwhenitisreceivedbyemail.
TodefineapasswordtoprotectthegeneratedPDFattachment:
1. OntheScriptspane,clicktheblacktriangleontheNewbuttonandclickEmail PDF password
Script.AnewscriptisaddedtotheScriptspane.
2. Double-clickthenewscripttoopenit.
3. Selectadatafieldandoptionally,typeaprefixand/orsuffix.
Password types
PDFallowsfortwotypesofpasswordstobesetonasecuredPDFfile:auserpasswordandowner
password.Theuserpasswordallowsalimitedaccesstothefile(e.g.printingorcopyingtextfromthe
PDFisnotallowed).Theownerpasswordallowsnormalaccesstothefile.TheEmailPDFpassword
scriptsetsboththeuserandownerpasswordtothesamevalue,sothatwhentherecipientprovides
thepassword,hecanmanipulatethefilewithoutlimitations.
