TerminalServer/ServiceSupport
PrintShopMailConnectdoesnotsupportTerminalServer(orTerminalService)environmentaspos-
sibleunderWindows2000,2003and2008.Thisistosay,ifTerminalServiceisinstalledontheserver
wherePrintShopMailConnectislocated,unexpectedbehavioursmayoccurandwillnotbesupported
byUplandObjectifLune.Furthermore,usingPrintShopMailConnectinaTerminalServiceenvir-
onmentisaninfringementofourEnd-UserLicenseAgreement.
VirtualMachineSupport
PrintShopMailConnectsupportsthefollowingvirtualenvironments:

VMWareEnvironments.ThisincludesVMWarePlayer,VMWareWorkstationaswellasVMWare
ESXServer.

VMWareVMotion.ThismeansthevirtualmachinehostingPrintShopMailConnectcanbeauto-
maticallymovedfromoneESXservertoanotherinaclusteredinstallation.
NotethatifallserversinaVMotionclusterarenotstrictlyidentical,youwillhavetoprovidethe
ObjectifLuneActivationsteamwithallpossiblemagicnumberssotheycangeneratealicense
thatworksonallservers.Obtainingthemagicnumbersissimplyaquestionofmanuallymoving
theVMonwhichConnectisinstalledtoeachserver,andrecordingthemagicnumberforeachof
them.
