Widowsandorphansarelinesatthebeginningorattheendofaparagraphrespectively,danglingat
thebottomoratthetopofapage,separatedfromtherestoftheparagraph.
Bydefault,topreventorphansandwidows,linesaremovedtothenextpageassoonastwolinesget
separatedfromtherestoftheparagraph.Thesameappliestolistitems(inunordered,numberedand
descriptionlists).
ThenumberoflinesthatshouldbeconsideredawidowororphancanbechangedfortheentirePrint
context,andperparagraphandintables.

1. Onthemenu,selectEdit > Stylesheets.
