Code 128 Properties group:

Height: Enter the Barcode height in either metric (cm/mm), inch (in), pixel (px) or point (pt)
values.
l
Module Width: Specifies the width of the narrow bars. Changing this value to higher
value will generally make the Barcode bigger.
l
Print human readable text: Check to add a textual version of the Barcode data.
l
Placement: Use the drop-down to select whether to place the human readable text
above or below the Barcode.
l
Font name: Use the drop-down to select the font with which to display the human
readable text.
l
Font size: Enter a font size for the human readable text.
l
Text: Enter the text used to generate the Barcode.
l
Add button: Click to display a list of variable data that can be added to the
Barcode. This includes metadata fields added in the Metadata Options, as well as
some information fields.
l
Condition: Enter the condition which determines whether or not the Barcode will be
added to the document at print time. For details on how to create a conditional, see the
Conditionals page.

Add button: Click to display a list of metadata fields, information fields to add, or
common expressions to the condition.
Code 39 Settings
Code 39 is a discrete, self-checking barcode that is also known as "Alpha39", "Code 3 of 9"
(often abbreviated to "3 of 9"), "Code 3/9", "Type 39", "USS Code 39" and "USD-3".
Code 39 data should contain no more than 20 digits from within the following range:Numeric
digits:(0-9), upper-case letters (A-Z), seven special characters (- . space $/ + %) and the
start/stop asterisk (*) character.
If the Extended character set is chosen, then lower-case letters (a-z) and other special
ASCIIcharacters can also be included.
