captured. This name is defined by the software that creates the print job.
Miscellaneous Tab
The Miscellaneous tab is common to all tasks.
Check the option Use as step description to display the text next to the icon of the plugin in the Pro-
cess area.
Action tasks
Use action tasks in PReS Workflow to perform a wide variety of operations. PReS Workflow includes
more Action tasks than Input and Output tasks combined. Action tasks can even be used to input data
and to output data.
The difference between an Action task and an Input task is that an Action task can never be the first
task of a process. In the same fashion, the difference between an Action task and an Output task is that
an Action task can never appear at the end of a process. In other words, Action tasks are always placed
between other tasks.
