Variable Name
%{error.errorid} The error ID, as entered in the OnError tab of the task.
This is the same ID that appears in the Windows Event Viewer.
%{error.errorlog} A string containing the logged error message(s) from a task. Multiple
error messages are delimited by a "|" (vertical bar) character.
Accessing the Logs
If your process is running live in the PReS Workflow Service, you have two ways of seeing
what is happening now or what has happened in the past.
Viewing running processes
To view what processes are running and processing data as it happens:
1.
In the PReS Workflow Ribbon, click on the Tools tab, then select Service Console in the
Services group. The PReS Workflow Service Console opens.
2. Click on the service you want to check, including:

PReS Workflow
l LPD Server
l Telnet Capture
l Serial Capture
l HTTP/SOAP Server
l LPR Client
l FTP Client
l
PReS Image
l
PReS Fax
l
PReS Messenger
3. When any job or file is processed by the selected service, the processing logs will be
displayed in the window on the right.
