considerations involved with paths and permissions of these resources. Please refer to
the "Network considerations" on page16 page.
Input
Any data file in any format.
Processing
A copy of the data file is saved on the hard drive at the specified location.
Output
The original data file, Metadata and Job Info variables are not modified, they are passed on to
the next task.
Task properties
General Tab
l
Folder: Enter the path of the folder to which the files are to be saved.
l
File name: Enter the name of the output files generated by this task. To prevent each new
file from overwriting the previous one, you should use variable names. As with any
variable property box, you can use any combination of text, variables and data selections;
see "Variable task properties" on page201..
l
Concatenate files: If this option is selected, when PReS Workflow tries to save a file
under a given name, if a file under that same name already exists, instead of overwriting
it, PReS Workflow will append the content of the new file to that of the existing file. This
appending process will go on until the file is removed from the folder.
l
Separator string: This option is used to add a separator string between the content of
each file when the Concatenate files option is selected.
