l Subprocesses: Displays a list of subprocesses in your configuration. Right-click on a subprocess to
access a drop-down menu that offers these choices:
l Insert Subprocess:Inserts a new process with a default input and output task.
l Insert Local Variable: Inserts a new local variable.
l Cut, Copy, Paste:Controls the clipboard.
l Delete: Deletes the subprocess from the configuration.
l Rename: Renames the subprocess.
l Group, Ungroup: Triggers grouping functionality.
l Properties...: Displays the process' properties for error handling.
l Global Variables:Displays a list of variables that are shared between all your processes. Right-click
on a Global Variable to access a drop-down menu that offers these choices:
l Insert Global Variable:Creates a new global variable
l Cut, Copy, Paste:Controls the clipboard.
l Delete: Deletes the global variable from the configuration.
l Rename: Renames the global variable.
l Reset: Resets the global variable to its default value. Useful if one of your process is modifying
the global variable's value and you want to return it to its original default value.
l Group, Ungroup: Triggers grouping functionality.
l Properties...:Displays the properties, which lets you set a default value for the global variable.
l Connect Resources:Displays a list of PlanetPress Connect resources that can be used in
processes. Different resources are divided into subfolders:
l Data Mapping Configurations:Displays a list of data mapping configurations used with the
Execute Data Mapping task. Each of the templates have been sent from PlanetPress Connect
using the Send to Workflow tool. For each template in the list, the following two items appear
within them:
l Data Model:Displays the data model used in the data mapping configuration. Double-click
on the data model to view it in your default XMLviewer (generally, Internet Explorer).
l Sample Data File(s):Displays a list of sample files that are included in the data mapping
configuration. Double-click on a file to use it as a sample data file for the active process.
l Document Templates:Displays a list of templates that can be used in content creation
tasks:Create Email Content Set, Create Web Content and Create Print Content.
l
Job Presets:Displays a list of Job Presets that can be used in the "Create Job" on page 420
task.
l
Output Presets:Displays a list of Output Presets that can be used in the Create Output task.
