Sort Parameters
The Sort Parameters define how to sort the entities retrieved from the Connect Database using either
the "Retrieve Items" on page538 task, or the Filter source in the "All In One" on page495's Data Map-
per task.

Sort items based on: Lists the different sorts to apply to the entities.

Name: Click and enter the name for the Value or the Property to sort on.
l
Type: Select whether the Name option refers to a Property or a Value within the entity.
l
Order: Select how to sort, either Ascending or Descending alphabetical order.
l
Add: Click to add a new line to the sort list.
l
Remove: Click to remove the currently selected line in the sort list.
l
Move Up: Click to move the currently selected line up one position in the sort list.
l
Move Down: Click to move the currently selected line down one position in the sort list.
l
Validate Names: Click to check each line in the sort list against the currently active Metadata.
Metadata must be loaded in "The Data Selector" on page713 or through the use of the Debug-
ging feature (see "Debugging your PlanetPress Workflow process" on page89).
Create Email Content
The Create Email Content task generates a set of email content items from a template's Email Con-
text, which are then sent directly to the recipient set in each record.
Tip: Drag-and-drop a template from the Connect resources in the Configuration Components
pane on a process to add this task or one of the other OL Connect tasks that create content from
a template: a "Create Preview PDF" on page511 task, a "Create Print Content" on page515
task, or a "Create Web Content" on page518 task.
Input
This task must receive either Metadata containing information regarding a valid Record Set, or JSON
data.
Metadata
The "Execute Data Mapping" on page524 task and the "Retrieve Items" on page538 task output
metadata containing information regarding a Record Set.
