new configuration. Select the Always save without prompting for confirmation option to auto-

Open a PlanetPress Workflow configuration file
To open a configuration file:
1. From the PlanetPress Workflow button, choose Open. The Open dialog box appears.
2. Navigate to the Workflow configuration file you want to open, select it and click Open.
Or:
1. Use Windows' File Explorer to navigate to the Workflow configuration file (.OL-workflow) that
you want to open.
2. Double-click the file.
If the currently opened configuration file includes unsaved modifications, the PlanetPress Workflow
Configuration program asks you whether to send the configuration to the PlanetPress Workflow service
before opening the selected configuration.
Select the Always send without prompting for confirmation option to automatically send the edited
version of the configuration to the PlanetPress Workflow Service before opening any other con-
figuration file (See "Saving and sending a Workflow Configuration" below).
Note: You can also open a configuration file from a previous version of PlanetPress Workflow by
changing the File Type selector to the desired version (for example, .pw7 for PlanetPress Watch
/Server configurations from Version 7).
Saving and sending a Workflow Configuration
The core of the PlanetPress Suite workflow tools is the PlanetPress Watch service which, once started,
constantly runs in the background to perform the tasks included in its current configuration file. The
PlanetPress Workflow Configuration tool lets you create, edit, save and send configuration files.
As you are working on your configuration, you can save that configuration file as a file on your local
hard drive.
Saving a configuration file never replaces the current PlanetPress Watch service configuration. To do
this, you must use the Send Configuration command.
When the PlanetPress Workflow Configuration program sends a configuration, the PlanetPress Work-
flow service is stopped and restarted, if it is currently running, and the new configuration starts being
applied immediately.
