system).
l
Corresponding metadata file: With this method, the plugin will look for a file with the
exact name as the document file, but with the extension ".meta", in the same folder as the
document file.
If the input file is the Workflow Job File, the Metadata file is looked for in the Workflow
Job File folder. If the input file is an External File, the Metadata file must be located in the
same folder as this external file.
Note
The Metadata file name has to be the same as the original external file name (not
the file name set as "File name (Subject) for upload").
An example: The file to upload is an external file named
"C:\Documents\Invoice4711.pdf". The File name (Subject) for upload is "Invoice-
No-%5.pdf". When the option Corresponding metadata file is selected, the plugin
will look in the folder "C:\Documents" for a Metadata file named
"Invoice4711.pdf.meta".
l
Embedded metadata (PDF only): This method will extract the embedded Metadata file
from the file specified as the file to upload (regardless of it being the Job File or an
external file). As embedding a Metadata file is only possible with PDF files, this option will
only work with PDFs.
Note
This option is only available with PDF files generated from a PlanetPress Design
document (see "PlanetPress Design documents" on page44).
l
Assign Index values: This option will activate the table, which contains those index
names as could be retrieved from the specified Target File Cabinet. This requires that the
Target File Cabinet be specified as static text, without any variables or lookup functions.
