10.1.9 Send to Folder Action Task Properties
Send to Folder action tasks send the files they receive to a local folder. They perform the same function as
Send to Folder output tasks, with the only difference being that in this case PlanetPress Watch/Server will wait
for the task to be completed before going on to the next task in the configuration.
Send to Folder action task properties are as follows:
General tab
Folder: Enter the path of the folder to which the files are to be saved.
File name: Enter the name of the output files generated by this task. To prevent each new file from
overwriting the previous one, you should use variable names. As with any variable property box, you can use
any combination of text, variables and data selections.
Concatenate files: If this option is selected, when PlanetPress Watch/Server tries to save a file under a
given name, if a file under that same name already exists, instead of overwriting it, PlanetPress Watch/Server
will append the content of the new file to that of the existing file. This appending process will go on until the
file is removed from the folder.
