Not all phones that can support the software can actually support the transfer modes between the pen and the mobile
phone. Some phones are thus not compatible with the PlanetPress Mobile app, even if the app itself installs properly.
As a general rule, devices with BlueTooth that support OBEXFTPshould be compatible, as long as they support one
of the app versions above.
List of known incompatible phones:
l Google Nexus S(made by Samsung)with Android OS2.3. App installs but cannot receive data from the pen, as it does
not support OBEXFTP. There is a high probability that this limitation also affects the Nexus One and the Google Nexus.
l iPhone, iPad, or any other iDevice. Due to high restrictions in place by Apple for distribution, updates and functionality,
no iDevice version is currently being developed.
List of devices that have been tested as functional:
l LG-500S:Tested with Android 2.2

phone models or a guarantee that they will work.
Configuration
The Mobile application is simple in its configuration. While the settings available are the same across all devices, the interface
and way these settings are selected will differ between the four versions of the App. For example, theJava version on a reg-
ular cell phone will use the buttons (arrows)to navigate, while smart phones usually have touch screens.
When modifying options in the Configuration dialogs, you need to press the "Back"button on your device to exit out of
the configuration and save the option. Adialog confirms the save request.
