Using PlanetPress iWatch

A target output queue is defined as a queue which receives the loaded PlanetPress documents
(document+spooled data). This queue must be associated with the PPRESS workstation customizing
object (*WSCST).
The following information message <
Source/target *OUTQ properly configured for PlanetPress printing

will be displayed if the queue was found to be properly configured.
Parameter descriptions
<OUTQ>Output queue
Specifies the qualified name of the output queue that will be checked. The queue must exist.
The possible library values are:
*CURLIB: The current library for the job is used to locate the output queue.
*LIBL: The library list is used to locate the output queue.
library name: Specify the name of the library where the output queue is located.
<Type>Output queue type

The possible type values are:
*SOURCE: This is a source output queue. A source output queue is defined as a queue which receives the
spooled files to be merged with PlanetPress documents. The source output queue cannot be connected to
a printer writer.
*TARGET: This is a target output queue. A target output queue is defined as a queue which receives the
loaded document. This queue must be connected to a writer for printing to take place.
9. Print PlanetPress test document
The Print PlanetPress test document command can be used to test the entire process of printing a
PlanetPress document on the iSeries. This command will send a pre-defined test document to the
designated source output queue. The monitor will then, in turn, deliver the test document to the
associated target output queue. The target output queue must be associated to a Postscript printer.
