6. Define PlanetPress source output queue
The PlanetPress Source Output Queue command allows the user to create the specified source output
queue if the queue does not already exist. If the queue exists, then it will be associated to the specified data
queue.
A PlanetPress Source Queue is used to trigger the process of associating a pre-defined PlanetPress
document with a spooled file. A data queue associated to the source output queue is necessary to
accomplish this process. Entries are logged in the data queue when spooled files are in ready (RDY) status
on the source output queue. The monitor program checks this data queue to determine when a spooled
file has arrived.
Parameter descriptions
<SRCOUTQ>Source output queue
Specifies the qualified name of the output queue that will be associated with the data queue. If the queue
does not exist, you will be prompted to create one.
The possible library values are:
*LIBL
: The library list is used to locate the source output queue. This is the default value.
*CURLIB: The current library for the job is used to locate the source output queue.
Library-name: Specify the name of the library where the source output queue is located.
<DTAQ>Data queue
Specifies the qualified name of the data queue that will be created and associated to the specified output
queue. The data queue must not already exist.
The possible values are:
*OUTQ
: The name of the data queue will be the same as the name of the specified source output queue.
This is the default value.
