Using PlanetPress iWatch
1
<NOTIFY>Notify if no PlanetPress document found for spooled file
Specifies if an informational message should be sent to the *SYSOPR queue if a spooled file is encountered
that does not have a corresponding PlanetPress document. Such spooled files are put on hold.
The possible values are:
*YES
: An informational message will be sent to the *SYSOPR queue. The spooled file will be put on hold.
This is the default value.
*NO: No message will be sent. The spooled file will be put on hold.
3. Work with PlanetPress monitors
This option runs command
WRKSBSJOB PPRESS
. It displays the list of monitor jobs running in the PPRESS
subsystem. You can end a monitor by specifying option 4 in front of the job.
4. Display active source/target queue associations
An active source/target queue association refers to the queues used by an active PlanetPress monitor. This
option is useful if you want to list the output queues in use by the monitors.
5. Define PlanetPress documents/iSeries spooled file associations
Option 5 allows you to define how PlanetPress documents will be associated with an iSeries spooled file.
PlanetPress iWatch uses the
FORMTYPE
and/or
USRDTA
attributes of the spooled file to link with its
corresponding document. The following display allows you to control the associations.
In field <PPS Form>, you enter the name of the PlanetPress documents. Documents are stored in file
PPRESS/PPSFORMS, one member per document.
