color(insteadofwhite),bytypingahexadecimalcolorvalue(seeforexamplew3school'scolorpicker).
WhenblackisacompositeofCMYKorRGBvalues,itmayincuracolorclickchargeonsomeprinters.
ChecktheOutput in Grayscaleoptiontomakesurethatpureblackisused.
Output format
Defineshowthebarcodeisoutputonthepage.Therearetwopossibleformats:

SVG:Vectorformat.Thisisusuallyofhigherquality,butmaytakelongertogenerateandisnot
compatiblewithEmailoutput.
l
PNG:Binaryrasterizedformat.ThishasaslightlylowerqualitythanSVGbutisusuallygen-
eratedfasterandwilldisplayproperlyinEmailoutput.

ThebarcodecanbeaddedeitherusingtheBarcodetoolbarbuttonorthroughselectingInsert > Bar-

Initiallythebarcodewillhavethebarcodetype'sdefaultproperties.Tochangethoseproperties,such
asthescaleandcolor,opentheBarcodepropertiesdialog:right-clickthebarcode(ontheDesigntab
intheWorkspace)andselecttheBarcode...optioninthecontextmenu.
