3. NowstarttheOLConnect_Serverservice
Configuring the Server Extensions
InthecasewheretheOLConnectMySQLisinstalledonthenewMasterServer,itisimportanttorecon-
nectallServerExtensionsystemstothenewMasterServer.
PerformthefollowingactiononeachServerExtension:
1. StoptheOLConnect_ServerExtensionservicefromControl Panel > Administrative Tools >
Services > OLConnect_ServerExtension > Stop.
2. OpentheServerExtensionConfigurationfrom:
C:\Program Files\Objectif Lune\OL Connect\Connect Server Exten-
sion\ServerExtension.exe
3. ClickonDatabaseConnectionandconfiguretheJDBCDatabaseconnectionsettingssothatthe
hostnamepointstothenewMasterServer.
4. ClickonSchedulingandtypeinthelocationofthenewMasterServer.
5. StarttheOLConnect_ServerExtensionservice.
Transferring software licenses
Oncealltheaboveresourceshavebeentransferredovertothenewserver,itisrecommendedtothor-
oughlytestthenewsystem-indemo mode-withsamplefilesundernormalproductionloadtoidentify
pointsofimprovementandmakesuretheoutputmatchestheuser’sexpectation.
Outputgeneratedatthispointwillnormallybearawatermarkwhichcanberemovedbytransferring
licensesfromtheoldservertothenewone.

TotransferConnectandWorkflowlicenses,theuserisusuallyrequiredtocompleteaLicense
Transfer AgreementwhichcanbeobtainedfromtheirlocalCustomerCaredepartment.
