cess.Ifthischeckfindssometechnologiesaremissing,itwillinstallthosetechnologies,beforecon-
tinuingwiththeinstallation.

Afteranyprerequisitesareinstalled,thePlanetPressinstallerWelcomescreenappears.
ClickNexttocontinuewiththePlanetPressinstallation.
Iftheinstallationisanupgradeoverapre-existingConnectinstallation,theinstallerwillfirstuninstall
theearlierversion.
Ifyouwouldliketoretaintheusageinformationfromthatpre-existingConnectinstallation,donot
selecttheRemove User datacheckboxoption.

LicenseAgreement
ThenextpagedisplaystheEndUserLicenseAgreement,whichneedstobereadandacceptedbefore
clickingNext.

ponentsofPlanetPressConnectcanbeselectedforinstallation.

ponentisnotoptional.

Designer:TheDesignermodule(see"TheDesigner"onpage412)canbeinstalledstandalone
(withnootherinstalledmodules)onasmanymachinesasyoulike.Itdoesnotrequirealicense
torunasastandalonedesignertool.ThisallowsanynumberofpeopletousetheDesignerfor
creatingjobs,butwithoutproductioncapabilitiessuchasautomationandcommingling.The
Designermoduleisoptional,butitisrecommendedthatitalwaysbeinstalled.
