Toaddaproperty:
1. SelectthePreprocessorstepontheStepspane.

OntheStep propertiespane,underProperties,clicktheAddbutton .See"Properties"on
page325foranexplanationofthesettingsforproperties.
Defining runtime parameters
Customruntime parametersinadatamappingconfigurationaredefinedviatheParameterspane.
ThiscanbefoundnexttotheDataModelpaneattheright.Ifitisn'tvisible,usethemenu:Window >
Show View > Parameterstomakeitvisible.
Note: Thesourceofaruntimeparametervaluemustbesetintheautomationtool,e.g.OLCon-
nectWorkflow,intheRuntimeParameterssectionoftheOLConnecttaskthatusesthedatamap-
pingconfiguration.(SeeAllInOneandExecuteDataMappingintheOnlineHelpofWorkflow.)
Toaddaruntimeparameter,startbyopeningthedatamappingconfigurationtowhichtheparameter
shouldbeadded.Makesurethedatamappingconfigurationisvisibleintheworkspace;thenopenthe
Parameterspane.
Note: Runtimeparametersarealwaysaddedtothefilecurrentlyvisibleintheworkspace.
Toaddaparameter:
1. ClicktheAddbutton.TheAddParameterdialogopens.
2. Givetheruntimeparameteraname.Thenameisneededtoaccesstheparameterinascriptand
tosetitssourceintheautomationtool.
3. Optionally,setadebugvalue.Notethatthedebugvalueisneveractuallyusedoutsideofthe
DataMapper.Itsonlypurposeistomakeiteasiertodesignandtestthedatamappingcon-
figuration.Theactualvalueofaruntimeparametercomesfromtheautomationtool,e.g.the
ExecuteDataMappingtaskortheAllinOnetaskinPlanetPressWorkflow.
4. ClickOK.
