Upgrading from PlanetPress Connect 1.1
InordertoupgradefromConnectVersion1.1toVersion1.7.1viatheUpdateManager,itisnecessary
toinstallanewversionoftheObjectifLuneUpdateClient.ThenexttimeyourunyourcurrentUpdate
Clientitwillshowthatthereisanupdateavailableforitself.Simplyclickonthedownloadbuttoninthe
dialogtoinstallthenewversionoftheUpdateClient.Notethatitisnoproblemtoruntheupdatewhile
theClientisopen.Itwillautomaticallyupdateitself.
Onceyouhavedonethis,PlanetPressConnect1.7.1willbecomeavailablefordownload.
FromConnectVersion1.2onwards,thenewerversionoftheUpdateClientwasincludedwiththeCon-
nectinstallation.
Updating stand-alone Workflow Messenger installations
IfWorkflowMessengerwereinstalledstandalone,withnootherWorkflowcomponentsinstalled,the
UpdateClientwillbeunabletofindtheMessengercomponentandthusitwillnotautomaticallyupdate
totheWorkflow8.7version.Togetaroundthis,downloadandruntheWorkflow8.7installermanually.

etPressSuite7customersonOLCaretoupgradetoConnectforaminimalfee.Thelicenseallowsreg-
