toninthedialogtoinstallthenewversionoftheUpdateClient.Notethatitisnoprobleminrunningthe
updatewhiletheClientitselfisstillopen.Itwillautomaticallyupdateitself.
Upgrading from PlanetPress Connect 1.1
InordertoupgradefromConnectVersion1.1toVersion1.8viatheUpdateManager,itisnecessaryto
installanewerversionoftheObjectifLuneUpdateClient.ThenexttimeyourunyourcurrentUpdate
Clientitwillshowthatthereisanupdateavailableforitself.Simplyclickonthedownloadbuttoninthe
dialogtoinstallthenewversionoftheUpdateClient.Notethatitisnoprobleminrunningtheupdate
whiletheClientitselfisstillopen.Itwillautomaticallyupdateitself.
Onceyouhavedonethis,PlanetPressConnect1.8willbecomeavailablefordownload.
FromConnectVersion1.2onwards,thenewerversionoftheUpdateClientwasincludedwiththeCon-
nectinstallationbydefault.
Installing PlanetPress Connect 1.8 and PlanetPress Workflow 8.8

Fax,SearchandImagingmodules).

Updating stand-alone Workflow Messenger installations
IfWorkflowMessengerwasinstalledstandalonewithnootherWorkflowcomponentsinstalled,the
UpdateClientwillbeunabletofindtheMessengercomponentandthusitwillnotautomaticallyupdate
totheWorkflow8.8version.Togetaroundthis,downloadandruntheWorkflow8.8installermanually.
