DynamicPPDOptions
ThispageappearsaspartoftheAdvanced Print WizardandtheOutputCreationPresetWizard.
TheDynamic PPD mode optionspageallowsyoutoaddPostScriptprintercapabilitiestoConnect,
throughtheprinter'sassociatedPostScriptPrinterDefinition(PPD)file,andtoassignrulestothemto
triggerthosecapabilitiesinconjunctionwithConnectTemplates.
Note: ThisPrintWizardpageisintendedforuseonlybythoseoperatorswhoareveryfamiliar
withtheirPostScriptprinter'scapabilitiesandtheoptionsavailabletothemintheprinter'sasso-
ciatedPPDfile.

generalprinterdetails(suchasthemodelname)whilstthePPD file namefielddisplaysthenameof
theactualPPDfilethatisloaded.
IftheincorrectPPDwasassignedtothisPrinterModel,thePPDfilecanbechangedatthispoint,via
theImport PPDbutton .
Thisisnotconsideredgoodpractice,however.ItwouldbebettertoreturntothePrinterModelselection
dialogandchosethecorrectPrinterModelandPPDcombinationthere.
PostScript Options
PostScriptspecificoptionsthatarenotcateredforbythePPD.
