Code 39 Settings
Code39isadiscrete,self-checkingbarcodethatisalsoknownas"Alpha39","Code3of9"(often
abbreviatedto"3of9"),"Code3/9","Type39","USSCode39"and"USD-3".
Code39datashouldcontainnomorethan20digitsfromwithinthefollowingrange:Numericdigits:(0-
9),upper-caseletters(A-Z),sevenspecialcharacters(-.space$/+%)andthestart/stopasterisk(*)
character.
IftheExtendedcharactersetischosen,thenlower-caseletters(a-z)andotherspecial
ASCIIcharacterscanalsobeincluded.
Note: Tocreatedynamicbarcodes,Metadataoptionsmustfirsthavebeenset(see"MetaData
options"onpage1083).
Metadatafieldsarerequiredtocreatetheassociationbetweenthedynamicdatausedintheprint
runandthebarcode.
UsethefollowingoptionstoconfiguretheoutputBarcodesettings:
