All required information is summarized in the table, which has buttons to the right which allow
one to Add ( ), Edit ( ) or Delete ( )individual entries. Double clicking on any entry in the
table also launches the Edit dialog.
The options available in the Add/Edit dialogs are as follows:
l Name: Enter a unique name (case-sensitive).
l URL: Enter a valid URL (including the protocol, e.g. http://, and port).
l Authentication:
l User name: Enter the username to authenticate to the Connect Server.
l Password: Enter the password to authenticate to the Connect Server.
Authorized users are managed via the Server Configuration Tool. See "Security and
Users Settings" on page93.
The Connect Servers preferences also provides you with buttons to :
l Restore Defaults: Removes all custom servers from the list and resets to the default
Connect Server.
l Apply: This option applies the settings made within the current Preferences page, but
does not close the Preferences dialog.
Web Applications preferences
The Web Applications preferences allow to set up connections to additional servers. These
servers may be selected in the Send to Server dialog (see "Sending files to Connect Server or
to another server" on page447).
