Use FNC1: Check to enable Application Identifiers. These are often used to encode links
to websites, or to encode production/batch details.

Position: Select between the two methods for encoding FNC1 characters within QR
Codes:

First Position - uses the GS1 QRCode standard.

Second Position - uses the AIMQRCode standard. If this option is chosen
then the appropriate Application Indicator will also need to be set.

Application ID: Enter the appropriate QR-Code Application Indicator in
accordance with the specific industry or application specifications (as
provided by AIM International).

Text: Enter the text used to generate the Barcode.

Add button: Click to display a list of variable data that can be added to the
Barcode. This includes metadata fields added in the Metadata Options, as well as
some information fields.

Condition: Enter the condition which determines whether or not the Barcode will be
added to the document at print time. For details on how to create a conditional, see the
Conditionals page.

Add button: Click to display a list of metadata fields, information fields to add, or
common expressions to the condition.
UPC-A Settings
The Universal Product Code (UPC-A) Barcode is widely used for tracking trade items in stores
and at the point-of-sale. It consists of 12 numerical digits which are uniquely assigned to each
trade item.
Use the following options to configure the output Barcode settings:

Orientation: Use the drop-down to select the orientation of the Barcode added to
the page.
