as the

option.
l Browse...: If your sample job file is a local PDFFile on your computer, click on
Browse...
then navigate to the location
of the PDF file on your computer.
l Any printer: If you do not have a sample PDFready, you can capture your job on-the-fly. Start by opening your appli-
cation, then print your job to the PlanetPress EnvelopeNOWprinter which was created during installation. Then, select
the printer from the sample file drop down menu in this window. The job will be imported, along with any driver set-
tings that you selected when printing (for example, duplex settings).
You can only capture a sample file from a local, non-shared printer which means network and shared printers cannot be used.
In order to capture a job, you need to be an administrator on the machine (in Windows Vista and 7, you also need elevated
privileges). Only the first 50 pages of your sample file will be shown in the preview at any given time however when you print
your job, all the pages are printed.
You can also capture a sample file from a different printer, but this printer has to be
paused
so it queues the job but
does not actually print it. Additionally, you must be using a printer that uses a PostScript driver. Finally, this printer
must be in RAWmode so the information is useable by PlanetPress EnvelopeNOW. When you select any printer other
than the EnvelopeNOWprinter, PlanetPress EnvelopeNOW will automatically ask you to convert it to RAWmode.
