Congratulations on your purchase of this sturdy,
multi-featured Oben AC-2300L/CC-2300L/
CC-2400L Series lateral tripod. It will deliver
lightweight, rock-solid support for your camera
for years to come. In addition to providing normal
vertical tripod support for your camera, the center
column of this tripod can be placed in a horizontal
position and rotated from 90° up to 90° down from
the horizontal. The camera can be placed at any
point in this 180° range. This is ideal for close-up
macro photography, document photography, or any
photography requiring a camera position that’s not
available in the traditional tripod configuration.
Adjusting the tripod’s height is simple: just open
the flip locks to extend or retract each telescopic
leg separately. The center column locking knob
releases the center column in a split second to
slide up or down for further height adjustment. The
center column has a square shape to prevent it from
rotating accidentally.
Each leg can be positioned independently at 3
locking angles (24˚, 55˚, or 80˚), and a built-in
bubble level helps keep the tripod aligned with the
horizon — both essential when working on uneven
terrain. Rubberized non-slip leg warmers (for
aluminum models only) on two of the legs protect
your hands in hot or cold weather.
