Deburr the end of the tube, if necessary. 
For a slip joint connection: Slide the nut over the tube, 
then slide the washer over the tube with the beveled edge 
towards the female slip joint connection. If using a 1-1/2 
in. nut with a 1-1/4 in. tube, use a reducing washer to 
make the transition.
For a flanged connection: Slide the nut up the tube, then 
insert the flanged washer into the flange of the tailpiece.
Tighten and check for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten another ¼ turn.
