TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION: Oatey Stain-Free Plumber’s Putty is an oil-free, professional grade, patented-pending, non-staining
plumber’s putty that is formulated for use on natural surface materials found in sinks, countertops, strainers and shower bases such as
granite, marble, quartz/sandstone, and Corian®. Oatey Stain-Free Plumber’s Putty is a stain-free sealant for setting most types of
plumbing fixtures, with just the right amount of tack to adhere and shape. Oatey Stain-Free Plumber’s Putty remains flexible, so it is easy
to work with, molds easily, and cleans up easily. Oatey Stain-Free Plumber’s Putty provides a waterproof seal between two rigid surfaces.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
All surfaces must be dry and free from hardened putty, dirt, wax
oil and grease. Remove debris by wiping with cloth, scraper or
wire brush as needed and dry surface. Knead putty in hands and
form a long cord-like shape. Lay out the cord-like putty on the
surface to be sealed, overlapping the ends. Place the fixture over
the bead, attach and secure the fixture in place. Excess putty
should squeeze out from around the fixture ensuring sufficient
putty has been applied and a continuous seal has been made.
Remove excess with a putty knife.

PRECAUTIONS
Read all cautions and directions carefully before using this
product. DO NOT MIX OATEY STAIN-FREE PLUMBER’S PUTTY
WITH NORMAL GRADES OF PLUMBER’S PUTTY AS STAINING
MAY OCCUR. For out of the ordinary materials not normally
used as countertops or plumbing fixtures, test in an
inconspicuous area first before using, or consult the
manufacturer for recommended sealants. Keep container
closed when not in use. DO NOT REUSE EMPTY CONTAINER.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
