Fitting the pump
NOTE
In warm temperatures, the pump must be higher in the water than in col
d temperatures. More dirt particles are
generated in warm temperatures, particularly on the bottom of the pond. These may damage the pump or im-
pact its transport rate.
O
nly use one hose.
S
horten the hose if necessary.
U
se a filter bag.

See winter mode. (→ Fitting the pump)
Enclose the pump in the filter bag and close the filter bag tightly.
This protects the pump from fine dirt particles.
Commissioning/start-up
NOTE
Prevent the pump from running dry. Otherwise the pump will be destroyed.
O
nly operate the pump when it is immersed.
This is how to connect the power supply:
Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off: Disconnect the unit from the mains.

Maintenance and cleaning
For cleaning and maintenance, take the unit out of the water and dismantle it. If necessary, the impeller unit can also
be replaced this way.
WARNING
Electrical current may cause death or severe injuries.

lectrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Prior to reaching into the water, disconnect units and installations from the mains.
D
isconnect the power plug before carrying out any work on the unit.
S
ecure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
