6.1 Entering text and numbers
Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter text and numbers. The phone supports three input modes:
Multipress, T9, and Numeric. Multipress and T9 modes are used for entering text, and Numeric mode is
used for entering numbers. When you select a field that requires text or numbers, the phone automatically
selects the appropriate input mode.
To change the input mode
1. In text messaging mode, press and hold .
2. Select the input mode and press .
