5.1 Connecting to the Internet
You can set up an Internet or a network connection to do activities such as browse the Internet or intranet,
send and receive emails and instant messages, and synchronise information using ActiveSync.
With an active connection, you can browse the web, download e-mails, chat using MSN Messenger, or
synchronise wirelessly with the server. Check with your Internet Service Provider to see if a connection has
already been set up for you, and if over-the-air configuration is supported.
To connect to the Internet
On the Home screen, press Start > Settings > Connections to launch the Connections screen.
Connections settings allow you to set up Dial-up, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Bluetooth, Proxy, and
General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) connections, so you can connect to the Internet or your corporate
network.
