Changing regional settings

To change regional settings

1. From the Home screen, press Start > Settings > More > Regional Settings.

2. In Language, select your preferred language for the phone interface and menus.

3. In Locale, select your current location. The Locale option automatically changes the format of the

remaining options, such as date, time, and currency, to reﬂect those used in that locale.

4. Press Done after you have ﬁnished making changes.

NOTE To activate the new language settings, turn the phone off and then back on.

Changing proﬁle settings

A proﬁle determines how you get notiﬁed of events such as incoming calls, upcoming appointments, and

new messages. Your current proﬁle is displayed on the Home screen.

To quickly change the current proﬁle

To quickly switch to a different proﬁle, press and quickly release the Power Button and scroll to the

desired proﬁle in the Quick List screen and press Select. To open the second page of the Quick List screen

for more proﬁle options, select More.

NOTE When proﬁle is set to Automatic, your phone will automatically switch to Silent

mode whenever you have a meeting set up in Calendar.

To modify a proﬁle

1. From the Home screen, press Start > Settings > Proﬁles.

2. Scroll to the proﬁle you want to change, press Menu, and select Edit.
