If the previous partition was formatted with the NTFS file system, the file system will be so
extended that the larger partition will be occupied.A loss of data does not occur.
If the previous partition was formatted with a file system other than the NTFS, the command fails
and no changes will be made to the partition.
It is not possible to extend the current system or boot partition.
