4. Follow the wizard's on-screen instructions to install the Netcomm Device Drivers
package.
During installation, you can specify an alternate installation directory and must accept
the displayed license agreements.
5. When the InstallShield wizard displays its installation complete page, click Finish.
The wizard exits. Installation of the Netcomm Device Drivers package is complete.
Using the Netcomm Device Drivers
To demonstrate what you can do with the Netcomm Device Drivers package, this section
walks you through the Ethernet use case, one of the use cases included in this package.
NOTE You must use CodeWarrior for Power Architecture Processors, v8.7 with the
Netcomm Device Drivers, v2.0 package.
Using CodeWarrior for Power Architecture v8.8 with the Netcomm Device
Drivers, v2.0 package is not supported.
To inspect the Ethernet use case, follow these steps:
1. Start the CodeWarrior IDE.
To do this, select Start > Programs > Freescale CodeWarrior > CW for Power
Architecture V8.7 > CodeWarrior IDE from the Windows taskbar.
The CodeWarrior IDE starts and displays its main window (Figure 4.2
).
