MPC8568E Kit Configuration Guide
Each use case is based on at least one protocol. Each use case:
• Configures the device
• Configures the MDS board
• Generates and transmits data on a peripheral (for example, a UCC or an MCC)
• Receives data from the peripheral
• Compares the transmitted and received data
• Presents the results of the use case
NOTE You must use CodeWarrior for Power Architecture Processors, v8.7 with the
Netcomm Device Drivers, v2.0 package.
Using CodeWarrior for Power Architecture v8.8 with the Netcomm Device
Drivers, v2.0 package is not supported.
NOTE The QUICC Engine™ utility (QEU) includes most of the same use cases as the
Netcomm Device Drivers package. Using the QEU, you can view all
parameters that can be configured in a device, microcode, and driver using a
specific protocol. The QEU is included in the device drivers package.
