Breakpoint (BKP) Module
Low Power Options
Low power options are available in the BKP sub-block.
Run Mode In run mode, if BKEN=0, all clocks to the breakpoint system are disabled.
Wait Mode Wait mode power savings can be achieved by having the clock
generator shut down the core clock if the BDM is not used.
Stop Mode The BKP sub-block will be completely shutdown during a STOP
instruction.
Reset Initialization
The reset state of each individual bit is listed within the Register
Description section, which details the registers and their bit-fields. All
registers are reset by the system reset.
Interrupt Operation
The BKP sub-block causes the CPU to generate SWI interrupts when
BKBDM bit is equal to zero.
General Purpose I/O Ports
The BKP sub-block does not include any general purpose I/O ports.
