Get to Know the FRDM-KW24D512 3 of 3
The NXP Freedom development platform is a set of software and hardware tools for evaluation and development. It is
ideal for rapid prototyping of microcontroller-based applications. The NXP Freedom KW24 hardware, FRDM-
KW24D512, is a simple, yet sophisticated design featuring a Kinetis W series MCU, the industry’s first MCU built on
the ARM® Cortex® M4 core.
This equipment is to be used by developers for evaluation purposes only, and must be incorporated into any other
device or system. Integrators are responsible for re-evaluating the end product (including the transmitter) and obtaining
a separate authorization.
