SHOOTING
SHOOTING PREPARATION
Put the arm protection on the arm that you will use to hold the bow. The arm protection should
cover the inside of the lower arm so that it is not hit by the moving string when you loose the
arrow.
Check all arrow components, such as the nock,
insert and tip, before each shot. Make sure
that there are no tears or dents on the ridge or
that the nock is not loose. While the bow is not
drawn, place the arrow in the fixture and hold
the shaft centrally between the arrow rest and
the string.
Place the arrow so that it is at a 90°
angle to the string.
Place your index finger above the nocking point and middle and ring fingers beneath the arrow.
90°
• Never shoot the product without an arrow (dry loosing), otherwise you may risk damaging the
product. Never hang the product up by the string.
• Make sure that the target and the surrounding area is secure before taking a shot.
CAUTION
THE FORMULA:
(Arm span in cm) ÷ 2.5 = (draw length in cm) ÷ 2.54 = (draw length in inches)
Example: Arm span: 182 cm
182 ÷ 2.5 = 72.8 cm
72.8 ÷ 2.54 = 28.7 inches
1.

your chin, placing your index finger
at the corner of your mouth.
2.

What draw length do you need?
There are different methods for measuring the draw length. You can just take a bow, draw it fully
and then measure the distance. Alternatively, if you do not have a bow, you can just calculate it
like this:
DRAW LENGTH
THE SPAN OF YOUR ARMS: Stand upright and stretch out both arms at 90° angles from your body.
Measure (or ask somebody to measure) the distance from your longest finger on your left arm to
the tip of the longest finger on your right arm.
One inch is 2.54 centimeters.
