The crossbow must be cocked before you can load a bolt. Place the bolt on the groove with the
single color fletch in the middle so that the two fletches with the same color point out to the sides.
Push the bolt back until the nock touches the end. Turn off the safety. Now you are ready to aim
and shoot.
CAUTION: Never put down a crossbow once it has been loaded and drawn.

Once the crossbow has been loaded and the safety turned off it must be fired as the safety can
only be turned on again by recocking.
You must follow the safety instructions to avoid injuring yourself or others and prevent damage
to the crossbow. Always ensure that your fingers and thumb on the foregrip never get in the way
of the bolt or the string or the string’s path. Keep your fingers in a safe position for every shot.
Getting your hands, fingers or other body parts in the path of the string or cable can result in
severe injury.
Never shoot with the main string without a bolt.
