1.
Ensure that you have applied wax to the
string, including the central rail, cable, and
flight groove, before drawing. Repeat this
after every tenth shot. Place the cross-
bow’s stirrup on the floor and step into it
with the butt leaning against your thigh.
Lay the rope of the cocking aid over the
gaps for it and hook the string with both
cocking hooks as shown in the image.
2.
Make sure that the hooks lay against the
rail while cocking the crossbow. For less
draw force pull the hooks upwards rather
than down.
3.
Pull the string until you hear it click into
place in the trigger mechanism and
the “SAFETY” is automatically on. Gently
release pressure to ensure that the string
has clicked into place correctly. The
crossbow is now cocked and ready to
load. Do not cock the crossbow by hand
as this could lead to severe injury of the
user or damage the crossbow.
DRAWING THE STRING USING THE CROSSBOW
Wrong:
Do not pull the cocking rope up with the
force of your arms alone.
Using this incorrect method requires a lot of
arm strength and may lead to back problems
in the long term.
Keep pulling until you hear a click and the trigger
safety returns to position. Then gently release pres-
sure to ensure that the string has clicked into place
correctly.
Correct:
Stabilize the crossbow by placing your foot
in the stirrup. Pull the cocking rope up in
one fluid movement towards your chest and
straighten your entire body while doing this.
This method allows you to draw in a more
balanced, even way.
